By creating an account or using GetURLMonitor ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GetURLMonitor is a web monitoring service that checks URLs you specify and sends email notifications when content changes are detected. The Service is provided by GetURLMonitor ("we", "us", "our").

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Monitor URLs that you do not have permission to access
• Use the Service to scrape, harvest, or collect data in violation of a website's terms of service
• Attempt to overload, attack, or disrupt any website through excessive monitoring
• Use the Service for any illegal activity or to violate any third-party rights
• Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission

4. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Subscription and Billing

The Free plan is available at no cost with limitations on the number of URLs and check frequency. The Pro plan is billed monthly at $5/month via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

6. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We reserve the right to perform maintenance, which may temporarily interrupt the Service. We are not liable for missed alerts or check failures due to technical issues.

7. Privacy

We collect your email address and the URLs you choose to monitor. We use this data solely to provide the Service. We do not sell your data to third parties. Email notifications are sent via Resend. Payments are processed securely by Stripe — we do not store payment card details.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its content are owned by GetURLMonitor. You retain ownership of the URLs and data you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to access those URLs for the purpose of providing monitoring functionality.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GetURLMonitor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including missed change alerts or data loss.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of significant changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
